Speedy Creek - where fine wine flows
HEARTFELT GREETINGS FROM SPEEDY CREEK
I’m sure you have all experienced the fabulous wineries that Sonoma and Napa Counties have to offer. Magnificent places that make you feel like you are experiencing the best of what life has to offer, including grandiose settings with castles and caves in adult Disneyland-like settings. They have servers in uniforms, lovely manicured gardens, and huge buildings with shiny stainless steel equipment.

Well folks, we are different, and because we are different we’ve decided to give you another perspective. It is the perceptive of the small family farmer and grower. The one-man-does-almost-everything story. We do have labor support, but we actively participate in all phases of growing and wine making. Our story highlights the changes in a vineyard as we progress through the growing season. The wine speaks for itself. It’s delicious, but there is so much more to making a bottle of wine and making a life worth living. This is our story, and we look forward to sharing with you.
Who are we? We are small. We are family. We are committed to growing the best fruit that our land has to offer. There is an old wine business saying, "You have to have a large fortune to make a small fortune." Not us, we never had a fortune. We just work hard and love taking care of the land. Sometimes we wonder what are we doing here, so much hard work, so many roller coaster rides, and so much in the hands of Mother Nature. Then we taste the wine or look out our window or walk through the field, and then we think ok we can do this a little while longer…
Stay tuned, and live the life of a vintner through us. The thing about living a vicarious life is that you can take the good and leave the bad. So take the best and drink our Speedy Creek wines. It’s good for the body and it's good for the soul.
